I am Sunil Jayadevappa, Born to an Agriculture family on a bright sunny day of October 15 1980 in shimoga which is about 273 kms southwest of Bangalore. Did my schooling at Shikaripur and went to Hassan for my graduation..Presently working for Cisco as a Network Consulting Engineer in Bangalore.
As a person, loves life pretty much and always try to enjoy whatever i am into, down to earth persona with little egotism (trying to improve on this front). When it comes to my area of interest it varies from Kannada literature to rock music. A big fan of S L Byrappa, Ravi Belegere for their mesmerizing skills of depicting all aspects of life in such a humble manner. Experimenting with life gives me lot of thrill and pleasure irrespective of any field i choose, it doesn’t matter whether i will be successful or not as long as i learn new things from that.
Loves to read motivational and inspiring biographies apart from my technical stuff. Music and Movies has always been part of my life which i will use it as stress buster. Mukesh and Kishore’s are my favorites. Bon Jovi’s “Its my Life” has been my all time favorite song till today and “Shawshank redemption” and “America America” being my all time fav movies.
Cricket has been my larger than life game till today and Tendulkar is my role model not because of his innumerable records but for his character.
This Blog is just a Platform to share my thoughts and opinions on my day-to-day activities. I have tried my best to make this as much informative as possible so that it would help others to gain something when they visit my blog.
I am just like any other guy who has a strong urge to achieve something in life and give back to society!!!!

Hello, I plan to join Cisco Bangalore soon, I was wondering what are like average salary hikes after one completes a year in Cisco. Also, does everyone gets on average 80% of the bonus mention in offerletter, or its like very very few come that close??

Sorry for the late response. btw welcome to cisco, as is said in my several posts Cisco is a great place to work and am sure u wil come to know within 3 months of your joining.
Coming to your query on Bonus, it depends on various factors such as Company’s performance in global market, your BU’s performance and last but not least your performance. They will calculate considering all those factors and decide on the bonus. Generally most of the people wil get full bonus as Cisco hires only talented/skilled people like u ..
