A weekend to remember!!

Last weekend i got a invite from one of my childhood friend Sharath(Shetty) for a dinner treat at his residence. Sharath was recently married to Divya and we all (SKP boys) attended his Marriage in Udupi. It was a nice trip indeed though a short one. Coming back to Sharath alias chacha, is a guy always does his work meticulously and the most tensed person you can see on the earth . He invited our SKP group, and everybody enthusiastically agreed to attend the Shetty’s treat except Sachin alias Kariya who was not in town. It was a dinner to remember and thats why it grabbed a special space in my blog.

We all reached his home around 8:00 PM passing all the JP Nagar hurdles. As usual our shetty was tensed and with all mixed emotions he took us to his home. He recently moved to his new flat which he purchased last year, nicely decorated interior with good ambiance set the tone to our get together.

Right from the beginning Shetty was very cautious in dealing with everyone, he made it a point to take care of each and every individual, though Rakesh and his wife introduced themselves to Divya , Healthy jokes mixed with some witty dialogue from everyone made the day even memorable. Thanks to everyone who helped me to recall my good old school day memories.

Dinner menu didn’t disappoint me as it had all the perfect dishes served hot. The great combination of Neeru dosa with yummy chicken curry/fry made my appetite even stronger, Thanks to Sharath’s ever smiling Mother-in-law who prepared such a delicious food for us. it would be really inconclusive if i don’t mention about the fruit salad, which was concluded our dinner. I had to take two bowl to satisfy my taste buds. All in all a very memorable weekend with Shetty’s family to remember forever. I would like to thank Sharath on behalf of all our SKP group members for his unforgettable dinner treat!!

I wish him and his wife Divya a very happy and peaceful Married life.

Back to Business…after IPL,Lotus Blossom and much more!!

Huh.. it has been long time since i wrote my last post. well i cant tell i didn’t get enough time to post anything for that matter, but certainly yes i do have time constraint as i am tied up with too many things to take care.

As i am leading one of the project (3 member team though) i have to work harder to achieve those unexpected(!) results and as per my this year resolution i need to complete CCIE Lab. These all things will happen only if i stretch myself a little bit. literally am going through a very tough time and at the same time am trying to enjoy whatever am into as it helps me in busting my stress factor.

Lot of interesting things happened in my life in the last one and a half month. I got engaged to Veena, who is pursuing her MBA from VTU (Final sem) and it needs one big post to tell about her which i will do it in some other day. Btw my close friend Nagendra got married and living a happy life.

I have booked my lab date on oct 3 (to be precise 120 days left for this D Day). Cleared ccie written a month back and slowly picking up on the lab topics. Am planning to post daily updates on my CCIE Prep as it helps me in analyzing my strengths and weakness.

Having said that this post wont be complete without mentioning IPL’s successful saga and story of Lotus Blossom in karnataka. These were the most likely important event happened for this year, Though i was busy with my work, i made it a point to watch some of the important matches esp. after RR’s unexpected dream run. They were written off even before the start of the tournament but still they managed to lift the cup, what an inspirational personality Warne is. .. and IPL find —-Yousuf Pathan!!

Again Politics is one of my interesting field and i do keep a tab on day to day activities, this time Lotus Blossom and it is one of my long term wish to see BJP coming to power in karnataka. The decision to support BJP (Yedyurappa) might appear a biased one, as i am from the same constituency Shikaripur. I grew up seeing him and in our early days we used to watch him closely and debated a lot about his potential of becoming a CM. We even predicted that he will become CM one day, and the wish came true. Time only can tell how well he manages to run the govt and shows his prowess without buckling to mining and Real estate lobby.

Hope this govt will do better .. and i wish them all the best!!

Google has done it again and done it in its own classic style. I think they are trying every possible way on the earth to reach the consumer. I like the way Google thinks and executes their ideas and this is one of them, Google’s new 411 service.

Are you ready to use Free windows?

Microsoft filed a patent for a new “advertising services structure” which says about the use of advertisements through its windows OS. Its one more way of delivering ads as Google does by analysing the searching habits of the consumer. If this patent is implemented on time then there is no surprise that you will soon be getting a free windows copy.

But again only time can tell how the consumer will react to these kind of OS’s. By any chance If you ask any open source user then the reaction would be quiet different, they prefer to use Linux than the free Windows with annoying ads..:-)
